With only about 6 weeks left until Tough Mudder, it's worth asking, "What is your goal for the month of July?" The current heat wave is making things really difficult for those who want to train outside. 30+ degrees (86+ F for the old schoolers) and smog doesn't make for a good time.
Personally, I'm looking to run 150km this month. If I can blade an extra 150km, that's just a bonus. I'm also targetting 100 straight push-ups and 20 straight pull-ups (have to get to 10 first!) by the end of the month.
Maybe a another question should be, "What is your best excuse for July?" :)
5 pullups, and being able to run 5km with no stopping. And graduating from the mudderling workout to the maybe mudder.
ReplyDeleteRun 5km in 30 minutes, and do some pull ups.
ReplyDeleteMy goal is 5 toes to bar and 10 pull ups unbroken.
ReplyDeleteThis is, by far, the best post on this blog. Gold star to Chris.
ReplyDeleteMy goals: Run a 5km under 21 minutes, maybe even get into the 19's. The big one is to not make excuses. I've got to get out there and do something everyday from now until the race. Crunch time!
My goal is a continuous 100 pushups daily. I don't have a running goal yet but I'll let you know when I have one. I'm also focusing on eating really well 80%/20% veggies to meat and dairy.
ReplyDeleteI think we've been doing 5km in under 30min but I haven't really been paying attention. I know now after the stairs I can run indefinitely which is a huge success for me because cardio has always been my weakest link. Still rocking the stairs too.
my best excuse for july is definitely "but I wanna go to the beach today..."
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to run 5K under 25 min. I'm also up to 60 straight push-ups and would love to realistically hit 70. I miss my stairs :(
